About Us

 McPherson Contractors Limited is a family-owned company that has been operating successfully in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty Regions. What started as a one-man digger and truck operation in the late 80s is now a wide-ranging fleet capable of covering many disciplines. We specialize in earthworks, quarrying, road construction, and drainage whilst also carrying out rural infrastructure maintenance and construction. 

Our people offer a wide range of skills and the ability to problem-solve and adapt to enable solutions to be developed quickly and work to be completed efficiently. Our key personnel have been involved with significant earthworks, start-to-finish residential subdivisions, highway construction, airport runway extensions, bridge construction, reinforced concrete construction, hot mix and bitumen sealing, bulk fill contracts, municipal site service upgrades, and significant pipelines including, sewerage, stormwater, and water pipelines. 

We have built up longstanding relationships with several clients due to our ability to accurately access the job and offer a realistic timeframe and budget so there are no surprises during, or on completion of the project. Our ability to produce 3D CAD models for you before we start work provides an extra level of peace of mind that the result will be as desired.  Projects that require progressive solutions are a favourite of ours and we regularly offer clients alternative solutions to their own with major cost-saving implications.  

All our equipment is maintained to very high standards which are reflected in the high level of responsibility our team takes for their machines and the work that they produce.
